DEEKSHA
Camp was organized on the occasion of Bal Divas (Children's
Day) on 14.11.2006 at the Langar Hall of the Bindusar
Tirath of the Village. The Camp was attended by around
500 students of 6 villages.
General awareness and Knowledge about computers and
various input/output devices was given during the Camp.
Knowhow about the life history and achievements of
various dignitaries was shared to motivate the students
and enhance their knowledge.
The need to imbibe skills and inculcate values was
highlighted during the Camp.
The
Camp was inaugurated by a Girl Student. The aim was to
promote education for girls in the rural areas.
General
Knowledge Quiz was organized by Samanvay.Com Welfare Society
and prizes were given to the students.
A
Memento was given to Mrs. Santro Devi for her valuable
contribution towards the entire SmartVillages programme.
The
female student who stood first in the High School Examination
in Government High School, Hansdehar was given the Shri
Jangir Singh Education Promotion Award
The
male student who stood first in the High School Examination
in Government High School, Hansdehar was given the Shri
Jangir Singh Education Promotion Award.
