Samanvay.Com is a community effort in which people from various streams have joined hands to provide benefit of IT to the rural community. The ultimate aim of Samanvay.com is to bring about IT revolution within the reach of every house of the villages. The financing of the entire effort done so far by Samanvay.Com has been mobilized by the members and no donation or grant has been taken from any institution of person for this effort.

Samanvay.Com is targeting to develop rural areas by exposing rural issues and problems for the global community over the Internet. The following objectives shall be met with the community participation:

Analysis of the villages on various socio-economic parameters at a micro as well as macro level;

o Improving the literacy rate of the villages by reducing the drop out rate;

o Maximizing the Employment Potential by providing the profiles of rural youth to the potential employers in India and abroad;

o Improving the economic conditions of the Semi-skilled and Un-skilled labour by publishing their availability status on the Internet;

o Providing updated information and databanks to the Government for better analysis and individual profiling;

o Disseminating the information about various Agro-based Schemes and connectivity to the agro-based web initiatives ;

o Web-based Career Counselling for the rural community by providing information on various courses;

o Promoting Rural Tourism (R-Tourism) and Rural Commerce (R-Commerce) in the global space;

o Providing databases on demand to the manufacturing organizations dealing in Agro-based products and implements like Tractors, Manures, Fertilizers etc.
